Mr. Lam’s journey as a disruptor in the mortgage industry began with the founding of Loan Direct in July 2017. Recognizing the need for transformation in a sector plagued by antiquated practices and excessive regulations, he set out to revolutionize the mortgage landscape by leveraging cutting-edge technology and introducing innovative products.
In June 2017, Mr. Lam assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Azura Holdings, an esteemed organization committed to driving growth and delivering exceptional financial solutions. His leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in guiding Azura Holdings toward achieving its goals while staying at the forefront of industry trends.
Prior to these ventures, Mr. Lam served as the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Excelerate Capital. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in establishing the company and implementing operational strategies that propelled its success.
With a proven track record in the real estate investment field, Mr. Lam served as the President of First Standard Capital, Inc. from February 2001 to March 2012. During his time at this private real estate investment firm, he expertly managed daily operations and implemented guidelines for private placements in real estate.
Mr. Lam’s illustrious career also includes serving as the President/CEO of Western National Funding, Inc., a regional mortgage banking firm from 1993 to 2000. In this role, he oversaw daily functions, managed multiple offices across different states, and achieved an impressive annual production exceeding $1.00 billion.

Spencer Hoo is an internationally acclaimed and award-winning Global REALTOR and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) renowned for his expertise in global real estate opportunities. A sought-after speaker and presenter on international stages, he shares valuable insights on working with foreign buyers and investors in local markets for Azura Global.
Since the early 2010s, Mr. Hoo and his team have made remarkable strides in the ever-growing Chinese market. Actively participating in local real estate and immigration industry events in China, they have forged lasting partnerships with industry professionals in real estate, immigration, finance, wealth management, and related fields. During this period, Mr. Hoo and his extended team successfully facilitated the sale of hundreds of homes and real estate investments across the United States.
Mr. Hoo has played an active leadership role in various real estate organizations, including serving as Vice President of FIABCI Americas (The International Real Estate Federation), Founding President of FIABCI USA Los Angeles/Southern California Council, Past Chair of California Association of REALTORS (CAR) Global Real Estate Forum, Past Chair of Orange County REALTORS Global Business Alliance, and Past Member of Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) International Committee, among other esteemed positions.
He has been instrumental in planning and leading real estate investment exploratory tours and related business events worldwide, notably in China, Mexico, Vietnam, Thailand, and Dubai/UAE. These events, with attendance ranging from 10 to 200 individuals, have resulted in direct deals and transactions commencing during and after the trips, thanks to new contacts and knowledge gained.
As an active real estate investor himself, he maintains a portfolio of properties in California (USA), Sanya and Hainan Island (China), and Tulum (Mexico). With his expertise as an accomplished sales professional, he has successfully sold numerous properties worldwide, enabling his clients to achieve remarkable equity growth and high rental returns. Some of these properties have doubled in value in as little as 18 months, while many have experienced an equity increase of 15 to 40% even before closing the transaction. Properties held for the long term have consistently outperformed the market average, delivering exceptional returns. Mr. Hoo’s positive experiences have instilled in him a passion for sharing the joy and benefits of global investing with others in a safe and prudent manner.
